Berry Johnson $500,000 Challenge (August 27, 2004) (Explanation)

1. Each class will be asked to raise money in Berry's name. Gifts given will be matched by an anonymous donor to a total of $500,000.

2. People can give in their kids names if the child graduated between 1962 to 2000 (Berry Johnson's tenure). The donor would give the check from their account (for tax purposes) and we put down the money was given in their kids name. Make sure we know this on the pledge card. We will then count this money towards the challenge.

3. The expiration date is August 1st.

4. Graduates of Dumont high DO count.

5. If my personal business gave already and wants to give again and I am in the defined time range the new money will be matched 2:1. If I gave the first time in my own name (non-H-D grad) but I want to give again in my kids name (a H-D grad) this will NOT match 2:1, but will match 1:1.
